Featuring musicians and models from our very own SIMA community!
A cultural experience based on the 12 chakras of the
Carnatic Melakartha Raga system
SIMA members will model their finest traditional Indian fashions, as each segment of the show is set to the COLORS and RAGAMS that correspond with each of the grouped chakras.
Weaving melody and rhythm with color and style, SIMA members will showcase a vivid spectrum of attire -
think Kanchipuram silks, Kasavu weaves, traditional veshtis, jewelry and accents, etc - against the backdrop of Carnatic music performed Live by our talented local musicians.

SIMA has partnered with a renowned professional stylist in the Hollywood and Bollywood industry to plan this event
Participants must be 2025 SIMA members
Models will wear their own clothing
Must attend Zoom planning meeting (Oct 4 - time TBD)
Strongly urged to attend in-person walkthrough with professional stylist (date & time TBD)
